美中時裝協會
美国美中时装协会（SAF）于1998年8月由美籍华人时尚界闻人許權榮，在美国时尚之都纽约创立。主要成员由纽约时装中心从事设计与营销、技术工程方面的人士成组，其中近半数以上为华裔人士，成立至今已有25年的历史，乃活跃在纽约时装中心重要的专业协会。
美中時裝協会的基本宗旨，是為其成員提供有關時裝設計、營銷、工藝技術、企業管理、人貴培訓和教育、項目開發及金融投資的信息和幫助。該協會還致力於發展中美服裝，貿易，通過時裝設計和工藝技術信息的交流加強两國服裝果的合作。並在中國上海、北京和杭州設立分会。
SAF美国美中时装协会曾经在配合中华人民共和国于2000年8月在美国举办的“中华文化美国行”活动，在纽约时装技术学院（FIT）举办了“首届美中服饰文化交流系列活动。同年9月配合美国雪鸟集团协助其创立了“浙江国际时装技术学院”（ZIFT)。
2001年春携美国纽约七大时尚名牌，参加上海国际时装周，在黄浦江边外滩引发了一场“曼哈顿世纪风”，次年又在上海国际会议会展中心长江厅，召开“世界时装论坛”暨“世界时尚研究院”成立大会
2005年在协会支持下，美国雪鸟集团和上海纺织控股集团、中国恒基兆丰集团、上海交通大学、上海戏剧学院、温州市瓯海科技局等机构合作，先后创建了，上海国际时尚中心、北京国际时尚中心、上海交大国际珠宝与时尚研究发展中心、纽约大都会时尚与文化卫星城、中美合作温州雪鸟服饰科技咨询服务有限公司和温州意水阁健康管理有限公司，美国雪鸟生活馆。为美中时尚产业的发展和丰富两国人民的时尚生活，作出了多项里程碑式的贡献！
弹指一挥间，中国的改革开放已经四十余年，SAF协会已经走过25春秋的历程。为纪念过去，展望末来。在美国东方文艺复兴联盟和联合国世界文化多样性组织的支持下，美国时尚与艺术研究院决定，将在年内组织人员，收集文字和图片，影视资料编辑回忆录，供大家分享与参考！

The US-China Fashion Association (SAF) was founded in August 1998 by Xu Quanrong, a Chinese-American fashion industry celebrity, in New York, the fashion capital of the United States. The main members are people engaged in design, marketing, and technical engineering in the New York Fashion Center, of which nearly half are Chinese. It has a history of 25 years since its establishment and is an important professional association active in the New York Fashion Center.
The basic purpose of the US-China Fashion Association is to provide its members with information and assistance on fashion design, marketing, craftsmanship, business management, personnel training and education, project development and financial investment. The association is also committed to developing Sino-US clothing and trade, and strengthening the cooperation of clothing results between the two countries through the exchange of fashion design and craftsmanship information. And set up branches in Shanghai, Beijing and Hangzhou, China.
SAF, the US-China Fashion Association, held the "First US-China Fashion Culture Exchange Series" at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York in cooperation with the "Chinese Culture Tour to the United States" held by the People's Republic of China in the United States in August 2000. In September of the same year, it cooperated with the American Snowbird Group to assist it in establishing the "Zhejiang International Institute of Fashion Technology" (ZIFT).
In the spring of 2001, it participated in the Shanghai International Fashion Week with seven major fashion brands in New York, USA, and triggered a "Manhattan Century Style" on the Bund by the Huangpu River. The following year, it held the "World Fashion Forum" and the "World Fashion Research Institute" founding conference in the Yangtze River Hall of the Shanghai International Convention and Exhibition Center.
In 2005, with the support of the association, the American Snowbird Group cooperated with Shanghai Textile Holding Group, China Henderson Land Development Group, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai Theatre Academy, Wenzhou Ouhai Science and Technology Bureau and other institutions to successively create Shanghai International Fashion Center, Beijing International Fashion Center, Shanghai Jiaotong University International Jewelry and Fashion Research and Development Center, New York Metropolitan Fashion and Cultural Satellite City, Sino-US Cooperation Wenzhou Snowbird Clothing Technology Consulting Service Co., Ltd. and Wenzhou Yishuige Health Management Co., Ltd., and American Snowbird Life Museum. It has made many milestone contributions to the development of the US-China fashion industry and enriching the fashion life of the people of the two countries!
In the blink of an eye, China's reform and opening up has been going on for more than 40 years, and the SAF Association has gone through 25 years. In order to commemorate the past and look forward to the future. With the support of the American Oriental Renaissance Alliance and the United Nations World Cultural Diversity Organization, the American Institute of Fashion and Art has decided to organize personnel within the year to collect texts, pictures, and film and television materials to edit memoirs for everyone to share and refer to!

在新世纪的第一个春天,美中服饰文化交流展,让曼哈顿的时尚之风吹到了
大洋彼岸的上海—东方的巴黎,美国设计师的杰作将带给上海的消费者无限的遐想:美中服饰文化交流将让东西方设计师对服饰的不同理念,碰撞出新世纪服饰潮流的浪花。这就是我们美中时装协会在上海主办“曼哈顿-世纪风”专场时装表演的目的。通过我们的时装表演,消费者将会理解到,在新世纪到来之日,时装不再仅仅是文化艺术的结晶,而且是科学技术发展的成果。
本次时装表演将向观众们展示美国著名时装设计师乔治·赛蒙顿的作品。他

注； 本次时装表演为上海滩，带来了震撼性的效果，虽然时间很短，仅仅只有60分钟的展演，但是被媒体报道称，上海建埠以来，美国时装最大规模的一次在上海的文化展演活动，由于许多服装为当季的流行服装，我们还特别规定所有的摄影记者，拍摄的图片不得作商业用途、而且，必须签置保证书方能领取摄影记者证。活动结束后。有四个品牌进入的中国时装市场。产生良好的经济效益！
