    • 臨床醫學為主,著重應對已出現的疾病;

    • 被動式健康管理,「有病才就醫」;

    • 醫療資源有限,公共衛生體系初步建立;

    • 典型時期:有史以來至20世紀初。

    • 引入公共衛生與預防醫學理念,普及疫苗接種、基礎衛生設施和營養改善;

    • 強調慢性病管理與人群健康干預;

    • 醫療體系逐步完善,政府政策傾向全民健康保障;

    • 健康教育與生活方式干預逐漸普及;

    • 典型時期:20世紀初期至今(目前在多數國家仍為主流行模式)。

    • 核心理念:追求「在良好狀態下的愉快生活與長壽」,以數據驅動、預防為先導。

    • 主要特徵包括

      • 精準醫療與基因科技:藉助基因檢測、微生物組分析等手段,實現個性化干預,包括精準營養、精準運動康復等;

      • 數位健康與人工智慧:利用可穿戴設備、健康App與智能演算法,持續監測與評估個體健康狀態,開源化的傳授健康技能和知識,利用機器人做手術,護理,按摩康復等等。

      • 全生命週期健康管理:從胚胎期到老年期,全程干預,全面守護;個體藉助數據理解自身健康趨勢,實現自我健康管理;

      • 整合醫學:融合中西醫學、食療營養、運動、心理等多學科手段,同時考慮環境、職業、社會關係等非醫療因素,進行綜合干預。

  • Apple Watch 實時監測心率,提前預警心房顫動;

  • 個體基因檢測結果用於定制營養或運動方案;

  • 數位療法(如CBT App)替代部分輕度抑鬱藥物治療;

  • 智能演算法輔助糖尿病患者制定個性化飲食與用藥計劃;

Human Health Enters the 3.0 Era

"Human Health 3.0" is an emerging and vital concept, signifying the third major leap in humanity’s understanding and management of health. This new model builds upon modern medicine, integrating cutting-edge biotechnologies like AI-powered diagnostics, human genome engineering, and stem cell therapies, alongside natural medical traditions from diverse cultures worldwide. Its core features are the precision and open-source accessibility of health information and methods, guided by a philosophy of "prevention first, individual-centered, and full lifecycle management."

The Three Stages of Health Evolution:

  1. Human Health 1.0: Disease Treatment–Centered

    • Focus: Primarily on clinical medicine, addressing existing diseases.

    • Approach: Passive health management—people sought care only when sick.

    • Resources: Limited healthcare resources; basic public health systems began to form.

    • Typical Period: From ancient times to the early 20th century.

  2. Human Health 2.0: Disease Prevention and Population Health–Centered

    • Focus: Introduction of public health and preventive medicine, promoting vaccination, basic sanitation, and improved nutrition.

    • Emphasis: Chronic disease management and broad public health interventions.

    • Systems: Healthcare systems gradually improved, with government policies supporting universal health coverage.

    • Practices: Growing emphasis on health education and lifestyle interventions.

    • Typical Period: Early 20th century to the present (still the mainstream model in most countries).

  3. Human Health 3.0: Personalized, Intelligent, Full-Lifecycle Health Management

    • Core Concept: Pursuing a joyful life and longevity in a state of well-being, driven by data and prevention.

    • Key Features:

      • Precision Medicine and Genomics: Leveraging genetic testing and microbiome analysis for personalized interventions, including precise nutrition and customized physical rehabilitation.

      • Digital Health and Artificial Intelligence: Utilizing wearable devices, health apps, and smart algorithms for continuous health monitoring and assessment. Open-source platforms disseminate health knowledge and skills. Robots assist in surgery, nursing, rehabilitation, and daily care.

      • Proactive Full-Lifecycle Health Management: Providing continuous and comprehensive care from embryonic development to old age. Individuals use data to understand and manage their own health trajectories.

      • Integrative Medicine: Combining Western and traditional medicine, nutrition, exercise, mental health, and other disciplines. Holistic interventions also consider non-medical factors such as environment, occupation, and social relationships.

A New Era of Coexisting and Diversified Health Models

In the Health 3.0 era, the principles of 1.0 and 2.0, along with diverse traditional natural medicine systems from around the world, continue to coexist. As global cultural exchanges deepen, multiple health paradigms thrive. Individuals can choose the most suitable health path based on their own conditions, understanding, and values.

Summary

"Human Health 3.0" is more than just a technological upgrade in medicine; it represents a profound transformation in health philosophy. It marks a shift from "disease-centered" to "health-centered" care, emphasizing individual participation, technological empowerment, personalized interventions, and systematic management. This signals the arrival of a smarter, more precise, and human-centered era of health management.

Real-World Examples:

  • Apple Watch monitors heart rate in real-time and can alert users to atrial fibrillation risks.

  • Genetic testing results are used to create personalized nutrition or exercise plans.

  • Digital therapeutics (e.g., CBT apps) are used as alternatives to medications for mild depression.

  • Smart algorithms help diabetes patients tailor their diets and medication regimens.

  • Corporate health platforms enable remote interventions and predictive health risk management.
